My name is Jonny McCormick and I am 20 years old. I am engaged to the beautiful Cassie Lam, and we are planning a wedding for the summer of 2010, after we graduate.
I am currently studying for a BA (Hons.) degree in Biblical Studies and Theology. After completion of this degree I have a desire to take my education further by studying at Masters and PhD level. I want to study for an MPhil in Reconciliation Studies through Trinity College Dublin, and then study something around Contemporary Culture for PhD, but I have’t quite decided where to study for that yet, it will probably be dependant on a number of factors.
I am a reader. I love to read.
I have a desire to see people ‘Shape Their World’ as opposed to letting the world shape them. I enjoy speaking to groups on faith based issues, and do this on a fairly regular basis at the moment.
I have 2 brothers (Michael and Joshua) and 1 sister (Rachel). I am the eldest child, and my siblings all attend secondary school and live at home in Belfast with my Mum (Pamela) and Dad (Jonathan).
